Our Founder|CEO, Colin Seale, recently hosted a 2-part training for Democracy Prep’s elementary school teachers held at The Agassi Campus in Las Vegas.
The teachers were super-hyped and excited to receive teachable lesson plans in their content areas where they can apply the practical critical thinking strategies they learned. We gave them a concrete map to find the way to transition from asking “what” and “how to” to asking “why” and “what if.”
We created our Critical Thinking Professional Learning Series (CTPLS) to redefine traditional professional development, put teachers at the center of their own learning rather than in the audience and to give teachers practical strategies and know-how to apply what they learn in their classrooms.
